How to Organize Your Video Library with Folders

Organizing your library isn’t just about neat folders — it’s about building a system that keeps projects, clients, and campaigns easy to find. With folders, you can group videos by purpose, streamline collaboration, and make sure your content is always structured, searchable, and ready to use when you need it.

How To Use Folders

Create Folders

• In the Library, click the (+) plus sign in the folder section (top left).

• Enter your folder name and click Create Folder. This becomes your parent folder.

  To create a subfolder, simply press (+) again within a parent folder.

  
  

Move Media into Folders

• Click Select
• Choose the videos or images you want to organize

• Add them to your desired folder

  
  

Remove Media from Folders

• Click Select
• Choose the assets you want to remove

• Click Remove (the media will remain in your library, just not in that folder)

  
  

Manage Folders

• Click the folder you’d like to update, then the 3-dot icon (top right corner)
• Options include: Edit, Move, Share, Copy, or Delete the folder

  • Deleting a folder will not delete the media inside — all assets remain safe in your library

FAQ

Will deleting a folder delete my videos?

No — deleting a folder only removes the folder. Your assets will stay in your library.

Can a video live in more than one folder?

Yes! It’s common to place a single asset into multiple folders.

Can I search inside a specific folder?

Yes — you can run searches within any folder to quickly find what you need.

What if I want to permanently delete every video from a folder?

To delete an entire folder’s contents, you’ll need admin access. If you don’t have it, contact your CSM for help.
