Setting up Tagging for Content Organization

Tagging your content is a great way to keep it organized and searchable beyond the capabilities of Search AI, which is purely visual.

For distributed marketing teams, tags are often a key part of the content organization strategy.

Examples include:

Dates, Locations, Brands, Products, Event Names, Collaborations, Customers, Partnerships, Etc.

HOW TO ADD TAGS

There are 2 different ways to simply add tags to your media:

  1. BATCH TAGGING

Click the Post/Asset/Clip/Video/Image/Graphic library you would like to add tags to and click the Select button in the top right corner of AdPipe.

A yellow banner will appear and you can select as many items as you'd like to add tags to. Once they are all selected, click Add Tags.

Tip: To bulk select a large number items, hold down the shift key to select the first and final applicable item in the list of desired items. Once they are all selected, click Add Tags.

A window will pop up where you can type in the tags you'd like to add to your media. When all of the tags have been added, click Done.

When all of your tags have been added, click the x in the yellow banner to return to your library view.

  1. INDIVIDUAL TAGGING

Anywhere within the library you can click to open the Post/Asset/Clip/Video/Image/Graphic you would like to assign a tag to.

On the left side of the screen you will see a Details Tab.

To add a tag, type the tag you’d like to create in the tags window, then click create new tag: ‘write your desired tag name’. Keep in mind that capitalization does matter and two tags will be considered unique even if they are otherwise exactly the same.

You can repeat this step until all of your desired tags for this asset have been added.

Don’t forget to click ‘Save’!
