How to Use Scenes

Scenes is an amazing feature that allows you to clip together multiple images and videos using the AdPipe Generator.

Using Scenes to clip together multiple pieces of your media is easy! Start by selecting a piece of content to create with.

After clicking 'Create', you will be brought into the Generator where you can trim and crop your media or add text, graphics and copy.

Learn more about this in How to Create and Customize an Asset.

To begin clipping images and videos together, click the Add Scene tab at the bottom of your timeline.

This will bring up a window where you can select a new piece of content to add using Search AI or your video, clips or image libraries.

Reminder AI searches your whole library visually, the videos, clips and images results will pull from file names and tags.

If you want to add a different moment from the video you are already editing, you can simply click the Dupe button in the Scene panel and it will duplicate that scene. To select a new moment, grab the yellow bars in the timeline to select the new part of the video you'd like to add.

If you need to reorder the Scenes you have added in your timeline, just drag and drop them in the right order.

If you want to preview the asset before you hit Generate, click the Preview button at the top of the screen.

Once you are satisfied with your asset hit the yellow Generate button.

GRAPHICS TIPS AND TRICKS

If you are adding graphics to your Scene, follow the steps outlined in How to Use Graphics.

Note: At this time you are able to add graphics to each individual Scene. If you'd like to add one graphic across multiple Scenes, you can Generate the combined Scenes as an Asset and then download it as an .MP4 file.

Once downloaded, the .MP4 file can be re-uploaded into your video library and edited as a single Scene.

If you need a graphic, like a logo to be in the same spot across all Scenes, you can hit the duplicate scene button in the Scene panel and then select the Replace Scene Source button.

More tips and use cases for adding graphics to Scenes:

  1. Add an overlay to Scene 1 to be used as a title, logo or explainer.
  2. Add your company logo to each Scene to have it present as a watermark throughout the Asset.
  3. Add an overlay or sticker to the final Scene as a call to action to your audience. ie learn more at www.adpipe.com
  4. Add a border to all Scenes to add motion to a image carousel or to add a subtle brand element to your final Asset.
  5. Add text to each Scene to tell a story.
