Crop & Resize Media
Cropping in AdPipe gives you real control over what your audience sees. Adjust height and width independently, trim out the noise, and frame exactly the moment that matters.

How to Crop & Resize Media
- Click the video or image on your canvas
- Hit Crop to bring up the handles
- Drag any handle to trim height or width on its own, no uniform scaling required
- Move the media around inside the frame until it looks right
- Click outside the media to lock it in
What You Can Do
- Cut out anything that distracts and put the focus where it belongs.
- Adjust media on the fly without bouncing out to another tool.
- Reframe a single asset for different placements without starting over.
- Get the composition you want, not just the one the original aspect ratio gave you.
FAQs
Does this work on both video and image?
Yep. Drop either one on the canvas and you can crop it.
Will this change my original file?
No. The original stays exactly as it is in your library. Cropping only affects how the media shows up in this asset.
Can I move things around after I crop?
Yes. Once you've trimmed the edges, drag the media inside the frame to land on the right shot.
What's the difference between cropping and resizing?
Resizing scales the whole piece of media up or down. Cropping trims the edges so you can zoom in on what matters, with height and width you can adjust separately.
Made a bad crop. Can I fix it?
Of course. Undo will walk it back, or you can re-crop until it looks right.
