How to Create and Customize with Captions

Captions aren’t just about accessibility. They’re about keeping your audience engaged, highlighting your message, and making sure your content stands out. With captions in AdPipe, your words don’t just appear, they move, grabbing attention and keeping viewers hooked.

How to Add Captions

Once your video is on the timeline, you have two ways to enable captions:

  • From the Element Panel
  • Or directly in the Toolbar

Toggle “Enable Captions”, and AdPipe automatically generates captions for every clip with speech, using the detected language. You can also zoom in or out on the timeline to fine-tune your view.

Style and Customize Your Captions

Now for the fun part—making captions look and feel exactly how you want:

  • Choose simple or animated captions
  • Pick a preset or design your own from scratch

You can customize:

  • Font
  • Color
  • Line count
  • Background
  • Shadows
  • Outlines

Captions update dynamically if you split or move clips, so timing always stays accurate. Want to rewrite or hide text? Just click into the caption to edit or toggle visibility.
